About North Hill Farm

The Barker family have been producing milk for over 35 years, starting back in 1978.  Now Ian Barker and his 26 year old son Jim run the farm which has a herd is made up of Friesians and Norwegian Reds.

In 2016 we started selling Udderly Fresh Raw Milk directly to our customers from our on farm vending machine. In the success of the Raw Milk Shack Udderly Fresh have opened a new farm shop, selling fresh local produce, which is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Since then we have set up an online store for customers to purchase milk to be delivered to their doorstep. we have also introduced raw cream and a milkshake bar.

Ian and Jim believe that a healthy happy cow will live longer and enjoy its life to the full. As our cows are not intensively milked we find that many live to a fine old age and are less prone to stress related health problems such as mastitis and lameness. We also firmly believe they produce much tastier milk.
